How to introduce your children to an adopted child?
This thread is for all real parents, real in the sense that they have their own kids, adopting a child to be their children's brother or sister.
How should you prepare your kids to your adopted son/daughter? it is important that you must teach your children what's not and what's to do when the new kid join their family. Orient your children that a new kid may be upset at first few days, they are just on adjustment period, so they may project unusual behavior. Teach your children to understand the newcomer. Let them know not to ask the adopted child a lot of questions, they might not be able to answer it, or it may just hurt them And most of all, teach them to become fair. They should share the same treatment food and care. The main goal here is to give a new family to a new kid. May you learn something from this. |

taking care of a child with your real children could be a very difficult task. You really need to help the foster child adjust.
